The Gourmet concept emerged from Gleads’ ambition to transform the richness of East Asian culinary heritage into visual storytelling.   • Vietnamese Traditional Tables: This sub-concept reinterprets the Vietnamese dining table as a cultural metaphor, emphasizing family bonds, nostalgia, and national identity. The arrangement of dishes, the selection of natural props, and the interplay of light and shadow were all carefully considered to capture the essence of shared meals and local traditions.
  • Giọt Vị (Essence of Taste): This sub-concept draws inspiration from classic Chinese cuisine, highlighting the refinement and elegance of historical culinary practices. Every sauce drop, noodle strand, and ingredient placement was intentionally styled to reflect the sophistication of a bygone golden era, while the visual tone evokes warmth and nostalgia.

  • Concept development: Gleads began by researching East Asian culinary heritage, exploring both Vietnamese and Chinese traditions. This included analyzing the symbolism of food, dining rituals, and regional ingredients to ensure cultural authenticity.
  • Visual ideation: Moodboards and color palettes were created to express the dual narratives. Lotus green, soft pink, ivory white, and light gold were selected to reflect serenity, femininity, purity, and warmth, while golden beige and warm browns were used to evoke historical elegance for Giọt Vị.
  • Set design & styling: For Vietnamese Traditional Tables, props, tableware, and food arrangements were chosen to reflect authenticity and cultural narrative. For Giọt Vị, lighting, textures, and small details like sauce drips and handcrafted utensils were incorporated to create visual depth and historical resonance.
  • Photography & cinematography: Composition, lighting angles, and spatial arrangements were carefully orchestrated. Close-ups captured textures, while slow-motion shots emphasized movement and sensory detail, allowing viewers to feel aroma, texture, and cultural rhythm.
  • Integration with brand identity: Throughout the process, every visual element was aligned with Gleads’ philosophy of storytelling through imagery. The team ensured that the campaign not only celebrated culinary heritage but also communicated the brand’s values and strategic message.
